CLUBHOUSE The clubhouse will be open from 06:30. All clubhouse facilities will be available to competitors and their guests. Jacket and tie must be worn in the smoke room. Casual wear is permitted elsewhere in the clubhouse but must be smart, all catering will be in the dining room where casual wear is permitted. JEANS, DENIM TROUSERS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS AND TRAINING SHOES ARE PROHIBITED. Changing facilities are available in the gent’s locker room. Showers are available but competitors will be required to supply their own towels.
The use of mobile telephones in the clubhouse or on course is strictly prohibited.
CATERING Coffee and bacon rolls will be available for purchase from 06:30.
The SGU will pay for soup & sandwiches for competitors between rounds and a two course meal for all competitors after the second round.
Any food or beverage out with that supplied by the SGU will be at competitors own expense.
PARKING Competitors and visitors may use the club car park where there is ample space. Competitors are reminded that the Scottish Golf Union and Luffness New Golf Club cannot accept responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to property.
PRACTICE Luffness New GC has kindly granted courtesy of the course for one practice round on Saturday 28 September. Times are available between 13:45 and 15:45 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Competitors must book in advance by calling the secretary on 01620 843336.
Any club unable to practice on the designated day may contact the club to try to organise an alternative time. This is at the discretion of the club and competitors may incur a fee.
There is a practice ground available for use on both days, it is located to the left hand side of the 1st fairway. Competitors are advised to bring their own balls. Use of this area is at the competitors own risk.
PRIZE PRESENTATION The presentation of prizes will take place at the conclusion of play. All medal winners are expected to attend.
The winning team will represent Scotland in the European Club Cup to be played in Aroeira Golf Club, Portugal 24 - 26 October 2013. It is expected that the winning team will be represented by the same players at the European Club Cup.
TROLLEYS & YARDAGE CHARTS Trolleys are available for hire and yardage charts are available for purchase at the professional’s shop. These are available on a first come first served basis.
VALUABLES Luffness New and the SGU cannot be held responsible for players’ property during the championship or on any practice day.

DIRECTIONS
Luffness New is on the A198 between Aberlady and Gullane in East Lothian. Situated 18 miles from the centre of Edinburgh From Edinburgh, Head for the A1 which you can join from various points in Edinburgh. From the A1 there are several exits onto the A198 (signposted Gullane and North Berwick). Continue on the A198 through Aberlady arriving at Luffness New on your right after approximately half a mile From the South, Follow the A1 to Haddington and take the A6137 to Aberlady. Turn right onto the A198 (Gullane and North Berwick). Luffness New is a short drive round the coast. The clubhouse is situated on the right.
